MasterCraft Unveils the new X-25

MasterCraft has introduced the new X-25 as a 2010 mid-season release. The X-25/225V features a new seating configuration and tons of creature comforts, all built upon a 'deep-v' hull originally developed for saltwater conditions. NEFWM's X-25 will be at the New England Boat Show Feb 20-28th, 2010. With the rampy wake for boarding and epic curl for surfing, along with the ability to handle big water both fresh and sale, we are undeniable excited about this new boat. Call 781 829 9940 for details!

December 2nd, 2009 - Holiday Specials!

We have finally settled into our new location, and heading into the holiday season, I thought this would be a good time to introduce a new special on the boats.

MasterCraft production is booked 2 months ahead at this point, without having hit the boat show season yet. MasterCraft released information today that they will be doubling their production by the end of December to meet demand. If you are considering a new boat, now is the time. There is no better time to buy a new MasterCraft than in the fall/winter. You will have time to choose colors, equipment and take advantage of early production discounts.
You have 18 summers with your children, how many will they remember?
We are seeing some great pre-owned boats being traded this fall, and we have some nice promo boats available as well. Visit us anytime at http://www.nefwm.com/
I hope this finds everyone well! -Jay

Wow... what a month!

Since the last post we have been a little busy :)

**New England FreshWater Marine has MOVED** We are now located just down the street from our old location. Our new address is 447 Washington St (RT 53), Pembroke MA 02359. (see pic, new location is "A")

We are setting up the new showroom and will have a dedicated retail area for a pro-shop. We will be stocking a wider variety of wakeboards, ski's, tubes, jackets, lines, handles along with an assortment of other items for all watersports activities.

We were at capacity for storage at our old building and this spot will handle more boats for the off-season along with affording us the opportunity of a nice display area on Rt. 53.

We have put together packages for storage, winterization and wrapping (includes a spring start-up, oil change, wrap disposal and cleaning). Call Jay or Bill at 781 829 9940 for all of the details.

FANFARE!!! October 7th 2009.

We have over 10 people signed up for a trip down to MasterCraft Boat Co. for FanFare 2009. We will be flying everyone down and taking a factory tour to see how the boats are built and what they are made of. All of the 2010 models MasterCraft produces will be available in the water for demo's. We'll have lunch with the executives of MasterCraft and if you are interested in a new 2010 MasterCraft, there is no better time to secure the deal of a lifetime and place an order for next year's season. Call Jay at 781 829 9940 for details.

Double UP Competition added to WAKEFEST 09!

We've just added a double up contest to our WakeFest 09 event on August 8th and 9th. It will take place on Furnace Pond (next to Oldham Pond where the WakeFest will be held). The reason we are switching lakes is "The Lucky Dog" is on Furnace Pond. There will be entertainment and we figured we'd make the most of the outside bar by putting the XStar in the water for a double-up event at the restaurant during the afterparty. There will be prizes...stay tuned!

Summer is here, a little late, but it's here

With intentions of 'blogging' near daily, it's been so busy at the store that I haven't been on in a while. I wanted to let everyone know we will be at the Johnson's Pond Ski Show (Coventry RI) on July 26th @ 1:30. The show includes skiing, barefooting, 360's around the boat, beach starts, wakeboarding and we will bringing the XStar to introduce wakesurfing to the crowd down in RI per their request. We are looking forward to meeting some new faces next weekend and also spending time with our new members of the NEFWM Family.

The DOUBLE HEADER wakeboard competition in Pembroke is Aug 8th and 9th. We are arranging an after party on Saturday at "The Lucky Dog" which is in between Oldham and Furnace Ponds. (A walk from the site, but there will be plenty of parking). Feel free to check out the restaurant prior to the event any time. The owner John is a great guy and we thank him for letting us set-up there that weekend.

MasterCraft started building new 2010 models after the 4th, and we have a new X35 Saltwater Series being built w/surf tabs that should be here in time for the event.

Keep your eyes open on the the South Shore for the XStar and Mikey killing it behind the boat... also, the CSX is in the Salt. If you see us around don't hesitate to ask for a pull.

If you happen to be in the Lake George area, there is a "Northeast Owners Reunion" happening all weekend at Castaway Marina. There will be poker runs, cookouts and a wakeboard tourney on Sunday.

I hope this finds everyone well and if we can be of service, please don't hesitate to call or email!
-J.

New "Big" and what's with all the rain??

Hello again :) I wanted to put up pictures of the new 2010 Dashboards for the XSeries and XStar. This new screen/system called "The BIG" will show all operations of the current VDIG at once along with the digital depthfinder (lake view) and ballast on the main screen now. We were just given a peak at them on-line and these are the 2 screen captures I took. Other capacities will include GPS/Chartplotter w/regional chips, tower mounted camera that will follow the rider on the tower swivel tow point, DVR to record sessions and downloadable rider settings that will save into a thumb drive to transfer from boat to boat. From what we have heard these settings will be automated and set the boat up for each rider with speed, ballast etc. All XSeries boats will also see new steering wheels, gauges and bezels. The toggle switches are now protected with billet and the main control for "The Big" is located to the right of the screen on the dash to not interfere with your visibility while driving. Have a great day, thanks for checking in :)

Jay's 1st blog

Just testing this, there are a lot of things happening, so I thought I'd make easy for everyone to check-in here instead of me blasting you emails all the time!
I figure this will be a great opportunity to share all of the things that make up the New England WaterSports experience. Tournament postings, innovations, gatherings, when/where we will be riding, product introductions, thoughts and most importantly pictures and stories from you, our customer. Without you, none of this would be possible.
This year has definitely had it's ups and downs, but we just finished our best month ever for MasterCraft sales. We only have 2 2009's left, a CSX 220 Saltwater Series and a 2009 X7 and just like that we are rolling into the 2010 model year next month.
MasterCraft has brought some new technology to the table for 2010, and it is incredible. I'll put up the new dashboard for the XStar and all X-Series boats and which features the aptly named "BIG"!
